Laying the Groundwork

I think everyone's dream is to jump on a horse and go riding off into the sunset but without the proper foundation all you will end up with is most likely a dirty bum and a bump on the head. Let's face it, we all have had someone tell us how easy it is to ride a horse but those of us who ride will undeniably tell you riding is hard! There are so many things to remember and so many things to do at once its easy to make a mistake and end up looking up from the ground to find your horse standing off to the side wondering what just happened to his rider.

Riding while someone lunges you is a great and safe way to learn balance.
